Within hours of its big reveal people started abusing the portal and now it has become a vehicle for lewd behaviour, as Dublin City Council says it has been halted so that changes can be made

An art installation dubbed the 'Portal' which connects New York to Dublin with a "virtual bridge" has been shut down after a series of disgraces, including a racy model flashing her breasts.

The groundbreaking public technology sculptures were officially launched in the cities on Wednesday (May 8), forming an "unprecedented bridge".

It is a project by Lithuanian artist Benediktas Gylys, who previously said "portals are sculptures that form a global network that is going to act as a bridge to a united planet."

But within hours people started abusing the portal and now it has become a vehicle for lewd behaviour, as Dublin City Council admitted to the Daily Star that the 24/7 interaction has been temporarily halted so that changes can be made to "deliver a better experience for all."

The move comes after a woman was arrested after 'grinding' on the installation, a man flashed his bum to New Yorkers, someone showed a distressing image of 9/11 and now an OnlyFans model has exposed her breasts to viewers.

Ava Louise took to Instagram to boast that "I got the Portal shut down" and shared a clip of her stunt.

"I thought the people of Dublin deserved to see my New York homegrown potatos," the New Yorker said.

Ava then shared a clip of her boyfriend "distracting" security, who confided in him before the stunt that it's "unfortunate that people are not acting in the best way" in regards to their use of the Portal.

She then flashed her breasts as Dubliners on the other side took photos. Ava has since shared media reports of her stunt on her Instagram stories.

Dublin City Council then issued a statement to the Star, extolling the virtues of the Portal.

The statement added: "Unfortunately, we have also been witnessing a very small minority of people engaged in inappropriate behaviour, which has been amplified through social media.

"While we cannot control all of these actions, we are implementing some technical solutions to address this and these will go live in the next 24 hours.

"We will continue to monitor the situation over the coming days with our partners in New York to ensure that Portals continue to deliver a positive experience for both cities and the world."

The term OnlyFans free online generally refers to the idea of accessing OnlyFans content without having to pay for a subscription. This can involve various scenarios:

  • Promotions or Free Trials: Some OnlyFans creators offer promotions or free trial periods where new subscribers can access their content for free for a limited time. This allows users to explore the creator’s content before committing to a paid subscription.

  • Leaked Content: Unfortunately, the term might also be used by individuals seeking access to leaked or unauthorized content. This involves accessing content that was meant to be behind a paywall but is shared illegally. Accessing such content can be illegal and unethical, as it violates the creator’s rights and terms of service.

  • Free Content from Creators: Some creators offer free content as a teaser or to engage with potential subscribers. This content is typically limited and meant to give users a taste of what they can expect from a paid subscription.
