Aline says the title is ‘surreal’ and vowed to retire as soon as possible
A woman who was crowned the 'sexiest nurse in the world' has ditched her day job for Only Fans, where she now earns £28,000 per month.
Aline Limas, was given the title by Playboy Magazine. The 30-year-old used to work as an ICU nurse chief, where she would work around 44 hours per week to save lives.
With these hours she would earn $4,000 (£3,086) at the end of every month. But after deciding to change careers and work in aesthetics, she found she was also able to set up her own business as a side hustle selling saucy pictures online.
Not only did her payday begin to feel a whole lot healthier – she now earns $200,000 (£28,000) a month – but she also got the attention of the world-famous Playboy, as reported by Need To Know.
"It's surreal to think that a magazine as iconic as Playboy granted me this title,” said Aline, who boasts 174,000 followers on Instagram, (@alinelimasoficial).
“I traded the stethoscope for cameras and never imagined it would take me this far.
"I've always loved taking care of people, but I found a new passion in expressing myself through content creation.
"My self-esteem had improved and I felt ready for this new phase in my life. It's wonderful to be recognised in such a unique and special way."
Aline, who is from Joinville, Santa Catarina, and now lives in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, decided to start her OnlyFans account after receiving encouragement from her Instagram fans.
She said: “I always wanted to do it, but I lacked the courage. I waited until I achieved the body I always dreamed of. At the time, I was working as a nurse, earning a low salary.
“But I love showing off and, and feeling in the best phase of my life, I decided to share this with my fans.”
She launched her site in March and since has gathered thousands of subscribers.
She said: “Some colleagues suspected and encouraged me to have OnlyFans, while others defamed and criticised me.
“When I publicly launched the links, many colleagues subscribed to the platform including men and women.
“Some out of fetish to see me nude, others out of curiosity.
“I became a topic at the workplace, and I receive messages from friends saying that my content is discussed every day, some criticise, others love it.”
Aline now works as an aesthetic nurse and has completed her postgraduate studies.
She said: “I work sporadically as my main source of income is my platforms.
“But when I do it, it’s because I love what I do and enjoy boosting my clients' self-esteem.
“And I don’t intend to return to work as a full-time nurse.
“My goal now is to continue in aesthetics, and the platforms, and retire as soon as possible.”
Aline’s family and friends have been super supportive of her decision.
She added: “My parents respect and accept me. I have their support. I have always been very dedicated, went to college, and have the same profession as them, and I am proud of it, but it is very undervalued, and I got tired of it.
“Life was passing by, and I was always on duty, unable to enjoy family, life, or travel, and earning little for the work done. They understand my feelings.
“Today, I am well-paid for exposing my intimacy, enjoying life, going out, travelling, exercising, and still having time for family, without having to clock in or lose sleep.
"For those who judged me for taking a different path, here's proof that following my dreams was worth it. If being sexy and successful is a problem, I'm happy to be the solution."
