EXCLUSIVE: Welsh model Lowri Rose is quitting the saucy subscription site and is warning young women of the consequences she is enduring from selling nude content

One of Britain’s top racy models recently revealed she was quitting the industry – saying it left her depressed, violated and unemployable.

Lowri Rose, 25, spoke exclusively to the Daily Star about how childhood trauma influenced her decision. She also opened up about why the job made her so unhappy.

The content creator, from Swansea, is now actively encouraging other young women to not follow in her footsteps, saying there are too many downsides.

According to Lowri, joining OnlyFans can be devastating in the long run, despite acknowledging that she made significant money from the subscription site over the past four years.

But asked what advice she would give to others who are tempted by it, she said: “Think of the consequences. I don’t think people understand that this decision will haunt you for life, in good and bad ways.

“People don’t think about what they are putting out there. It is one thing putting things behind a paywall but you know it will get leaked. I have had an insane amount of leaks, like thousands of thousands of leaks, so it is not safe.

“Also it can be tricky to get housing and your bank accounts can be closed, there are just so many consequences to making this decision.

“And I feel like people are just quick to do it because it is so glamorised with how people talk about it on TikTok and all these platforms and they don’t realise the negative side to it.

“It is being aware of the decision you are making and how that will affect you long term because when people ask me now I say don’t do it because I ask ‘do you see yourself doing this in ten years’ and they say 'no' so there you go then – it is just not worth it.”

Lowri spent her childhood going to church twice on Sundays up until the age of 18. But her religious Christian family disowned her when she turned to the sex industry.

However, she said breaking ties with them was one of the benefits of her decision, which was first inspired after gaining hundreds of thousands of followers on TikTok.

She saw OnlyFans as a way of monetising her internet popularity but she said creators were pressured into doing more “extreme and obscene” things the bigger the platform became.

And in part one of our interview with Lowri, she said her body was constantly scrutinised because of how she paid her bills.

She explained: “It is very hard on OnlyFans – you have people constantly ripping you to shreds every single day. And if it's something you don’t enjoy doing anyway, and there are also people ripping you for it, then it is just awful.

“People treat you awfully in person as well, everyone sees you in a negative way, even if they say they don’t, they do. It is just too much.

“The hate mainly comes from men but it is people calling you names and it is a lot to deal with. I have been called fat so many times when I am not fat. People have picked apart my whole image and it has impacted me a lot and I have had surgery and lost a lot of weight.

“I’ve even had people come up to me and say ‘you look like you do OnlyFans’ and it is just gross. People just think they can speak to you however they want.”

Lowri, who still does traditional modelling, is now exploring a different career as a streamer and she has also reignited her passion for writing music. She said she was “panicking” about what her future would be like without X-rated content – but said her mental health would ultimately be better off.

How to Access OnlyFans Content Legally

  • Check for Promotions: Look out for any promotions or free trials offered by creators on their OnlyFans page.
  • Follow Legal Channels: Subscribe through official OnlyFans accounts and platforms to ensure you’re accessing content legally and securely.

The term OnlyFans free online generally refers to the idea of accessing OnlyFans content without having to pay for a subscription. This can involve various scenarios:

  • Promotions or Free Trials: Some OnlyFans creators offer promotions or free trial periods where new subscribers can access their content for free for a limited time. This allows users to explore the creator’s content before committing to a paid subscription.

  • Leaked Content: Unfortunately, the term might also be used by individuals seeking access to leaked or unauthorized content. This involves accessing content that was meant to be behind a paywall but is shared illegally. Accessing such content can be illegal and unethical, as it violates the creator’s rights and terms of service.

  • Free Content from Creators: Some creators offer free content as a teaser or to engage with potential subscribers. This content is typically limited and meant to give users a taste of what they can expect from a paid subscription.

  • Unauthorized Access: There are illegal websites and services that claim to provide free access to OnlyFans content, often through hacks or other illicit methods. These sites pose significant risks, including legal consequences and cybersecurity threats.
