A model who flogged X-rated photos to keep her horse sanctuary open has died at the age of 30.
Mexican influencer Elena Larrea passed away on March 19 of complications from pulmonary thrombosis. She was the founder of the Cuacolandia Animal Sanctuary and turned to adult websites to make sure her animals' home could stay open.
And Cuacolandia Animal Sanctuary said: "With deep regret, we inform you of the departure of Elena Larrea, president and founder of Cuacolandia." Meanwhile local charity Movimiento Animalista de Puebla added: "Today we not only lost a friend, the animals also lost a brave woman, a great example of struggle for new generations."

The sanctuary was home to horses who had been abandoned or abused. But Elena found herself struggling to make ends meet.
The animal activist previously only relied on donations to cover the cost of food, veterinary appointments, medicine and cleaning, but donations dried up when the coronavirus outbreak took much of the world by storm.
She said the centre costs around 100,000 pesos (£4,600) to run per month. She told local media at the time: "The Covid-19 pandemic affected me greatly, I was left without the pensions I had and the visitors I received at the sanctuary. When I reached a very strong crisis point, I decided to open OnlyFans with the hope of generating something, and it was a complete success."
To cover costs at the refuge she turned to the racy platform where she started sharing erotic footage for a fee, the Daily Star previously reported. In one clip she could be seen wearing nothing but a tiny thong and cowboy boots..
"Since I opened the account, more than 30 horses have been rescued, and I was able to move all my horses." She continued: "I practically owe the project to the page and to all the people who are on that platform because it really gave me a lot of momentum."
However it wasn't all smooth sailing. She said she received backlash for her posts – including from her own mother. "The truth is that my mum blocked me and my whole family blocked me. Mainly, my mother got angry when she saw how everyone criticised and made fun of me.
"Now no one doubts me anymore, because, well, they have seen that they really do invest that money in horses."
